The “Do Not Forget Me – Istanbul” project, as a part of “2010 Istanbul European Capital of Culture” events, brings together director Huseyin Karabey, producer Sevil Demirci and six internationally renowned directors, Aida Begic (Bosnia- Herzegovina), Stefan Arsenijevic (Serbia), Stergios Niziris (Greece), Eric Nazarian (USA), Omar Shargawi (Palestine), Hany Abu-Assad (Palestine).

Young Bosnian Actress Alma has come to Istanbul to prepare for auditions of Othello. On one side she is dealing with the jealous and incessant phone calls of her lover, on the other she is trying to prepare the part in the trendy hotel he has booked for her. At some point of the evening she convinces hotel employee Ayça to help her. However Ayça’s realistic approach to Shakespeare leads the rehearsal towards an unexpected direction and holds up an interesting mirror to Alma’s life.
