Nermin Hamzagić (1986) directed his first professional theatre show “Copenhagen” by Michael Frayn at the East West Theatre Company and a documentary “Dreamers” that has been selected for the 15th Sarajevo Film Festival 09 and Jihlava documentary film festival. South Europe Film Festival L.A. (2010), Chicago film festival (2010). “Dreamers” were nominated for the Silver Eye Award at the East Silver Market in Prague. He also directed a short “Wahabis in Tram”. It has been shown only on YouTube and in a short time gained a huge popularity. In 2009 his short film “Lift” has been awarded at the international film festival “Europe is here”, Plovdiv. In 2009 he produced H.C. Andersen “Ugly Duckling” directed by Elma Islamović. He asisted director Aida Begić on the documentary movie “Children” in 2010 produced by Media Centre Sarajevo. In 2011 he directed the theater show “Ulica divljih kestenova” by Danilo Kiš in coproduction whit the International theater festival Sarajevo (MESS). In 2010 he joind the Film House team.
