Miralem Zubčević
Miralem Zubčević was born in Sarajevo 1951. He graduated Editing at the Faculty for Drama Arts in Belgrade at the Film and TV Department.
One of his many successful projects, “Snow” directed by Aida Begić, in which he participated as a film editor, was shown at Cannes 2008 “Semaine de la Critique” program, where the film won the Grand Prix and after that more then 20 festival awards all around the world. Film “Snow” was nominated for the European Film Award in the category “Discovery of the Year”.
Miralem Zubčević is Professor of Editing at The Academy of Performing Arts Sarajevo and has worked as an editor on numerous fiction films, documentaries, commercials, videos and promotional films. That includes professional engagement for 17 years as an editor at the Bosnian TV, where he edited 14 dramas, 3 films, 3 fiction TV series and various documentary films. He also worked for several years as Head of Editors Department at Bosnian TV, and Head of Education Program of Bosnian TV.
